The Gentle Tarot First Edition deck - the beloved deck from Alaska, lovingly created by indigenous artist Mariza Ryce Aparicio-Tovar. Designed with the "heal yourself, heal the Earth" motto in mind, this deck is loosely based on the classic Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) order of the Tarot but includes creative adjustments introduced by the author. In the Gentle Tarot Swords become Thunder and Pentacles become Stones; Page, Knight, Queen and King become Seed, Root, Flower and Harvest respectively. People and non-human animals inhabit this Tarot universe together, on an even footing.
